Former Alfa Romeo Director of Design, Christopher Reitz, has joined the UK-based open-source car company, Riversimple. In a statement on Riversimple's website, Reitz said: "This really is a step into something different, to design cars that really are the future. This, believe it or not, is the Nissan Murano CrossCabriolet. And it’s not a concept, but a production car that will go on sale in the USA from spring 2011. Nissan has released this teaser image of the Murano CrossCabriolet ahead of the vehicle’s official unveiling at the 2010 LA Auto Show next week.
The hybrid Honda CR-Z revealed at Tokyo
Although we are on record as not being huge fans of the Honda Insight - Toyota’s saloon hybrid – the CR-Z does look much more promising. You can think of it as an Eco replacement for the successful CR-X of years gone by. But Honda are all too well aware of the major criticisms of the Insight and have taking steps to make the CR-Z more appealing to drive.
